Design research, design and prototyping for innovative approaches to support the responsible and comfortable handling of recyclables in a household. For this purpose, current user behavior as well as political and social conditions were observed using findings of an international survey and extensive research. The result was usage and product concepts in the form of functional prototypes for product development.
